04 Cayenne rear window won't lock
My 04 Cayenne rear window will not lock and leaves my lights on and my screen shows it open and I have tried opening and closing and locking it several different ways any ideas?

Does it click twice when you close it?
Don't slam it, just close it and then push. It should click twice, just like a car door does.
When I got mine it did something similar. No matter how hard I closed it (obviously not hard enough to break the glass - duh), the interior lights stayed on and the dash "said" it was open.
Closing it and then pushing really hard on the latch would get the second click and it was closed.
A bit of spray lube on the latch mechanism and it was fine.

Up. My rear window is not closing, and I suspect the lock itself is causing the issue, unless the switch button somehow can cause it not to lock? Any advise? I guess I will soon need to look for info on how to remove the rear hatch inner liner to access that stuff.
