Hi - I have a new to me 957 Cayenne V6. The folding mirrors are very intermittent. I think they worked twice, that's about it. I'm not hearing any sounds when moving the switch to fold. I immediately thought it was the switch as the way it moves so picked up a used switch (probably wasn't the best choice) with the same results. Looking at the wiring table, it doesn't appear there is any type of relay in the circuit. Has anyone else experienced this with their folding mirrors?

Yes, fuse is good. It's the same circuit the mirror adjustments work from. mirror adjustments work fine. It's just the auto power fold that is intermittent. It has worked a couple times at most.

Mine were actually folding and unfolding over and over with the switch in the fold position.

I would take an ohm meter and verify that the contacts are closing...That switch has never been my favorite quality wise. It is also in a position where water can enter....That's my bet

Is there a schematic of the switch available? The wiring diagram I have does not show the switch operation at that level.

Just a quick update. I never found the schematic to the switch. I did get a scanner and was able to operate the mirror without issue using the scanner. I have since bought a new switch thru the dealer. Happy to say, the issue has been resolved.
