the 2 sec. thing is steering wheel lock i believe, so if your car is rolling down a hill the wheel stays in place and makes the car turn

Thanks for the suggestion about the button! The comfort setting with the seat going down and the wheel retracting was driving me crazy. I am 6'2" and I really didn't need the seat to lower...

Yeah, it locks the steering column in if you have the enter and drive option. The column locks when you lock the doors also.
