driving along at 50mph and lost all drive can move lever through all positions but no drive have checked gea box oil level and oil runs out indercating that the oil is not being picked up. hope some one can help

hi nodor engine man. light came on and it infered a shaft was not turning we cleared both faults and they have not come back but still no drive.thanks for the input

Please describe the situation better. When you move the lever through the gears are you seeing the transmission shift between D, R, N, etc. what happens when you try to put it in manual mode, etc. What were the exact codes you got? etc.

hi nodor cant remember if shift was indercating and donot have car at home to check but at the time i tried manual mode and nothing happend again do not remember if dash panel indercated the gear selected. the faults flaged engine managment and a shaft in or to the gear box not turning we cleared the faults and they did not flag up again hope thats of some help.bigsam

Did you try putting it in and out of low range? It's possible the transfer case hit a false neutral.
