Diffrential for Porsche Cayman S:2007:RHD:3.4ltr(M97.21):TipTronic S(A87.21)ZF5HP19
Subject : Diffrential for Porsche Cayman S:2007:RHD:3.4ltr(M97.21):TipTronic S(A87.21)
ZF 5HP 19) Gearbox:1060.030.114
Hi! Guys,
-If anyone interested in Diffrential for above specific car & Exact Gearbox,than, I have Solution from Very Reputed German Diffrential Specialist,but need to order minimum 4pcs,which will workout (+/-)$2700 to $3100 a piece,ex factory Germany.
I) i had been Searching Diffrential for above specific Model for almost last 6months,but could not,
II) Closest I could get was QUAIFE,as their website said clearly for above car,
-Bought,Tried to install but was unsuccesfull,as above Specific Car's Gearbox has:
-Right Side Flange longer & 'Push In' Type & Left Side Flange is Shorter & 'Bolt In' Type,
-QUAIFE's would not install,as Right Flange would not 'Push In'all the way & remains 12mm out side,On returning the same to QUAIFE & explaining with Proofs of Gearbox CAD Drawings & Spare OE Flanges(Right & Left),they admitted,but could not modify & returned the amount.
*All was handled by Mr.Geoff Booth at QUAIFE:UK.
III) To get confirmation from German Manufacturer I had to do lot of research, Invest time & Money.
a)Some how while going thru above R&D,managed to get perfect understanding how to remove OE Diffrential,(No manufacturer(after market) or ZF,were Helpfull)
b)manged to get Complete PDF of Specific Gearbox from ZF:UK,after lot of convincing,
c)managed to buy Flanges & OE Diffrential
(took me 3 months,as all wanted to sell full Gearbox,which is lot of money)
d)sent all OE spares to German Manufacturer,who Agreed to design & custom manufacture the Diffrential.
-i'm Using Their Diffrential on my Tuned MB's,& Swift Sport,they r Brilliant.
-i'm using QUAIFE'S too on my Beamers & VAG(1.8T RS)
e)If any one interested,i can
1) Explain,how to remove & reinstall diffrential & which spares(small) to order,so as not to get stranded,while Dismantelling & re Installing.
2) Email Gearbox PDF/CAD drawings with correct Part Codes
3) Direct contact with German Manufacturer.
IV) Planet 9 & Rennlist Blogs,had inquiries floating for Diffrential for this Car Model & Gearbox,but non could manage to manufacture & Install on Porsche Cayman S:2007, TipTronic S Gearbox.
There are Diffrential available for Manual & PDK Porsches.
