Hey guys! Wondering if anyone knows any easy do it yourself mods that I can do to boost up my performance. Its pretty fast for not being an S, but I am still hungry for more! Does chipping the car affect it's over all reliability and is it worth it? If you have chipped your car let me know, I'm curious to see if your satisfied! Thanks guys!

Yes, the questions have pretty well been answered. The overall conclusion is that exhaust and intake bolt on upgrades are the best to boost HP and the ECU tune should be saved until last.

Best overall performance upgrade would be lightweight wheels/tires that will improve acceleration, deceleration and handling.

I have an 08 997....did the mods the guys are talking about.... Tubi Exhaust, 20" OZ Ultraleggera Wheels, HR Springs to lower, wheel spacers (7mm front, 14mm rear) and finished up with the ECU tuning....
The ECU mod really does the trick. 3rd and 4th gear are a ton more fun now. Lots more throttle response. Noticeable performance on the track as well.

This pic is pre-lowering so you have to imagine that the fender wells are "filled up" after the HR Springs were installed.
I guess I need some new pics
