Weber vs CIS
Next week I am having a new motor put in my '70 911T. The new motor is a 2.9liter built up from a 2.4 motor I bought a few years ago. I ended up using a 46mm PMO Set-up rather than CIS. The motor was built for track and week end street use. I have had webers on the car for as long as I've owned it and have been satisfied with teh performance and durability in the past. Any opinions and feedback on this set-up vs. CIS would be really appreciated. I have a long history of second guessing my decisions and am looking for some re-assurance that I made the right decision. all comments welcome.
Also, can any one tell me how much I can expect to get when I sell my old motor? The old motor is a stock 2.2liter 911T motor with stock weber set-up. There are about 40k miles on it, Maybe 30hours of track use. Motor runs strong, very minor rear seal oil leak.
