991.1 911 C4S What power can I make?
What power can be made with a 991.1 911 C4S with what mods? Can they push 500awhp? Just want an idea since everything performance wise online seems to be geared towards GTS+ models.

Its unfortunate but any HP increases, like an X51 Power Kit, are going to be expensive on a .1. I've done a few HPDEs with mine and though its got advantages on long sweepers and in the wet, your going to need to get use to Caymans buzzing around you like noseeums. Had some fun with an M2, and if a .1 CS if not being handled by a decent driver, they can be taken apart. The torque in the .2s will have even the base Carrera getting the better of you. So if your looking to make power, you really need to rethink things. Look to maybe add a 3rd radiator to help with cooling.
Having written that. Realize there are too many things to love in a .1 C4S. Still can't be touched my most on the open road. Its a fantastic daily in all weather conditions; saved my **** more than once. They will bury me in mine. I'll hand-down my future GT3 to my son.

Thanks for the advice on this Phefner ! Love mine esp now with the Soul Exhaust with PSE...It really wakes this car up with the sound now...I don't think ill do the headers because as you said these parts are now cheap !! I feel that is pretty quick enough for the street.

Just did another HPDE at AutoBahn Club yesterday. It was a HOT day, mid 90s and no shade to hide the car in. Oil temps spiking to 250 F after a few hard laps. Seems high though a few others see same. Couple of the hard core racers suggesting the 3rd radiator to get the oil temps closer to 220/230 when tracking. I can drop oil temp to 200 F when ripping along a highway in Sport Mode. 220/230 F is what I see in normal mode.
I’m also thinking I need some lighter wheels. A lightweight monoblock type. The Turbo Wheel seems a bit heavy so that may be the best place to effect performance. Getting tired of losing ground in twisties to lesser beings.
Ran in SportPlus Manual Mode. You only need to cycle through 2-4...maybe tap 5 on a long straight if your getting over 100mph.
