Question FVD Bombracher / M&M / Porsche

Posted this same thread in "General Porsche discussions forum".

Brombracher*

It's had about 60 views with zero response.

Let's try here......

I've recently discovered FVD Brombacher and how they are directly associated (supposedly) with M&M and Porsche.

Just to put them in the same sentence together would lead me to believe that FVD would be much more desirable, not to mention, a whole lot better received on a forum dedicated to Porsche alone.

However, in my research I am finding it extremely difficult to find anything that clearly dictates the correlation of the three parties mentioned above.

I've reached out to friends (Porsche fanatics) and even a local race shop with years of experience working on Porsche's and building Porsche race cars, yet nobody knows of or as much as even heard of the FVD brand.....

I'm looking at exhaust from them too. I bought my roll bar from Rhonda at FVD Florida and was very happy. Looking for responses as well.

The exhaust is louder than stock.
One came on my 996TT.
Apparently it flows well but it makes long trips louder than I'd like.
YMMV.

Good thing I'm not holding my breath for those responses!

I have m&m thru Rhonda and FVD , In April 2016 got GT3 2004 full system and are thrilled, LOUD. M&M do Porsche MoTosport i heard and do GT3 tarmac rally cars in Germany in the past at least. Google Olaf Dobberkau and you will see m&m on the side of the car. A top shelf specialist fabricator suggested M&M to me.

HiFVD is a Distributor for M&M. Thats the relation. Nothing more and nothing less. There is no relation to Porsche.

Don't know about formal relationship but if you want info on the setup and quality etc, check with Matt muller at aspen Autosports - or mmuller on rennlist- there's a few GT3s in his shop that are set up with FVD/ m&m / brombacher.
