Default Bent sway bar. Is it trash or can it be repaired?

This is an RSS adjustable 3 hole ft bar for 997 turbo.

Can it be salvaged or is it trash?

Thanks,

Tom

Considering the replacement cost, I wouldn't even mess with it. Stock? I may have a factory set from my 997.2 turbo

Once it's bent fatigue will be a factor. Junk it. If cost is something you're worried about, imagine if you bent a wheel. Would you put any old wheel from any old 911 on?

It's hard to say no to free Porsche parts though, and white rock's isn't "Any old 911".

thats mighty nice of you! So I added a 2008 oem bar that I bought on eBay . Different part number to the 2007 bar. Figured out its larger in diameter bc the vert came out that year and that bar was used for both vert and coupe.

Im assuming the shape is the same just the diameter difference. But with this 08 bar the oem end links are making contact with something and bent. May have been a faulty install by my shop.

I'll PM you for your bars. Thanks!

Tom

Thanks. I just didn't want to throw away something that still had some life or usage. But I figured the same.
