We're still actively refinishing Porsche Hood Crests and Wheel Centers
Here's a few custom pieces we've recently completed:
Sometimes "less is more"! After some quality time with a Bead blaster, a Dremel, + a myriad of other metalworking tools your factory hood crest might look like this:
Which, after some gloss Marine Resin, a considerable amount of wet sanding + polishing and nickel plating you end up with this:
Or perhaps a Martini themed color scheme is more to your liking:
Or even a rear plaque or grille badge that shares the traditional "Star" pattern historically used in European Military and Civilian Awards:
The star background piece is a replica of those found all over Europe such as these:
It's a unique way to display a crest on the rear of your Porsche without utilizing a second full size hood crest. The star itself is 3.25" / 82.5mm. The prototype in the pic utilized a sold brass "keychain" piece that we've refinished.
If you'd prefer the "older" style crest with solid PORSCHE lettering in the top banner we can utilize a 356 hood crest.
The prototype is not as finely / highly polished as it would be on a customer ordered piece.

Periodically we let our imaginations off the leash.....and when it comes back we end up with a bit of Porsche whimsy:
A factory hood crest refinished in polished nickel plate + guards red, speed yellow and black gloss marine resin:
And a 356 hood handle crest combined with a pair of USAF Pilot Wings finished in Sterling Silver Plate. Fly Porsche!
Cheers: Jim
