Interesting - I wonder if, with x amount of people, they will waive this requirement. The person that gets them shipped to him/her is fortunate from the standpoint of not having to pay additional shipping but may have a hassle otherwise. I guess the other recipients could prepay a FedEx/UPS and arrange for pickup to minimize this. Anyone have a better suggestion? Let’s see what they say if 5 of us are ordering...-Dom

Just checked. Sounds like a single address, 20% discount.

They can be paid for separately, right? Can someone with shipping experience comment on what the best/least hassle method for shipping from a single address to multiple. We could just pair off geographically, if all it takes is two. For example, I’m in Florida- is anyone else in this corner of the country that is ready to buy? PM me your name/number and we can discuss details. -Dom

Sounded like they wanted a single payment/shipment.

Ditto for eastern PA.

When I went through this last year Durametric was very reluctant to give more than a 20% discount. Doesnt matter if you have 2 or 20 people its the same so a group buy is pointless. Also has to be identical units, one payment and same shipping address. No exceptions.

With that said I am interested in going in with someone for a Pro kit 1. Please let me know if you are interested.

Sorry, just replied to your PM - I already teamed up with another member and purchased Enthusiast. Just one pint, I'm sure a lot of you already know this but I ultimately decided on the enthusiast because if you have a 981/991, my understanding is that the pro & enthusiast versions are IDENTICAL (except for the VIN limitation). I was all set to buy the Pro, until I learned that the ability to "code" is the only difference but there IS NO CODING YET FOR 981/991 (I called Durametric to check on this, to make sure, they confirmed). Now they MAY eventually add coding which would leave the enthusiast version out of luck but I figured it was unlikely (just my opinion). Best of luck! -Dom

Anyone in NorCal who is interested in pairing up for the Enthusiast version?

Also, does anyone know if Durametric is planning on supporting 991.2+ model year cars at some point in the future?

I am in South Bay and looking for enthusiast version as well. I need to get one quickly (had an error code pop up and need to get car smogged in two weeks). Feel free to PM me and we can work out details if you are still looking.
