The 991 number mfg in 2016 is the wheel and the 991 number mfg in 2013 is the airbag.

$650 with shipping. I also have an agate grey airbag for $600 shipped. You can buy a different color airbag cover in eBay for $100. Both for $1100.

These will fit any Porsche ... yes any from 2005 to 2016. 2005-2008 will require a module and programming.

What would need to be done to a 981 CS with a heated non-multifunction wheel? I guess I'd have to have heating coded out? I'm interested if I can make it work without throwing codes.

I don't believe anything. I put a heated 991.2 multifunction wheel in my 997 and nothing happened. I don't have multifunction or heat.

I have a 07 997TT with a tip and a multi function wheel. I could care less about controlling anything but the trans from the wheel. Could I make this work?

Just read Porsche addicts post. Put me down as a backup if he doesn't take it and it will work for my application.

Thanks

I'm confused about the whole heating coding issue so ready buyers should have priority over me. This suggests heating alone requires coding:https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/991SD.html but a Suncoast rep in this thread suggested the coding was just for MF: http://www.planet-9.com/981-chat/174...hift-****.html I'm not really wanting to mess with coding locally and pay the dealer, so I'm going to have to see if I can definitively find out whether that can be avoided.

Of course feel free to sell to whomever, all that being said. Another will pop up eventually if I can confirm it'll work for me.

Am I right in saying this will fit a 997.1 only requiring a control module and re-programming?

Yes. There is a specific module... 997.613.289.01 and the dealer programs it for pdk.

I bought a used module and it was plug and play.

Default 996

That would look really good in the dated 996 interior!!! Even if mine is a 6 speed man, the paddles would look good just "for looks" compared to what my wheel looks like.
