Default Love this concept

This style of trailer addresses the problem that I experience fooling with ramps, on my former Trailex and Featherlite open trailers, loading and unloading my car from the trailer. My back is a wee bit challenged and schlepping those Trailex ramps from the centerline of the trailer to the sides was a bitch. The Featherlite was a little easier, the pull out ramps are directly below the loading zone. In both cases ramp extenders were need to avoid scraping off the front spoiler on my car while loading/unloading.

Another challenge, I always thought the Trailex ramps were on the narrow side. The Featherlite ramps were wider, but I never looked forward to the loading and unloading process with either trailer. When coming on and off these trailers, the nagging thought/fear of driving off a ramp was always in the back of my head. Never did, but it was a disconcerting process. This potential problem is eliminated with the 8218 TILT.

I sold both of the open trailers, and went back to an enclosed trailer with a "beaver tail" ramp. The open trailer loading and unloading process being one of the main reasons. Perhaps the seller will post a pic of the trailer with the bed tilted to the loading unloading position, maybe even with a car on the the tilted ramp.

Good luck with the sale. This trailer looks like a winner.

^^^^^ yes, see the actual approach angle, with a 911 or similar sized/clearance car. I understand most info is available online, but they rarely show specific application most of us are interested in.

I found this video of a Mustang being loaded and unloaded from an Aluma Tilt Trailer very similar to mine, hope you find it helpful... Having owned a number of car trailers that require the use of temporary ramps, this tilt trailer I have sale is a dream. jb
