Made a couple of changes to my 997.2 GT3 and have the following parts now available for sale which were installed by a previous owner:
MA Carbon 997.2 GT3 Steering Wheel - Alcantara wrapped including airbag housing area, with yellow 12 o'clock marker. Carbon fiber tri-spoke trim. The alcantara is pretty worn as you can see from photos. I've cleaned it with warm soap and water but maybe you know a trick... The alcantara around the back of the airbag housing (not the rim itself) appears to be shrinking away a little leaving some slight gaps which are not visible once mounted. [If you are going to use this on a track only car, may not matter to you. Otherwise, MA Carbon says they will re-wrap the alcantara for $800 or $850 depending on whether you wanted the marker. Dallas Custom will re-wrap alcantara for $379 plus options. DCT will charge $499 or $549 to re-wrap depending on whether you want the marker.]

Speed Yellow paint-matched Sport Bucket headrest inserts. The match is very good (see photos on my GT3). The paint finish is pretty good as well though there are some minor rub marks on two of them and some other slight blemishes but you will likely not see any of this once they are on the seat and you aren't staring at them closely. It was too much yellow for my conservative taste so I replaced these with some fresh OEM plastic replacements.

It IS physically possible. Of course you would need the round airbag. You might need some additional programming, I'm really not sure.
Here's a thread I found that may be helpful.
