I have a GMG center bypass for sale that came off my 997 GT3. The bypass comes with 4 clamps for securing the bypass to the side mufflers.

The bypass originally came with a "U" shaped bracket that secured the muffler to the engine. However, after a few thousand miles the bracket cracked due to the vibration on the motor. The bypass felt secure enough being mounted to the side mufflers via the clamps, so I never ended up getting the replacement "U" shaped bracket.

Interesting. Mine doesn't have the U brace and their website doesn't show it with a u brace. Is this an older design or a newer design? Just curious.

the plaque is stamped with a date of 1/11 so you likely have a newer design.

I too don't have the "U" bracket and I just bought mine 6 months ago. I had to loosen the clamps and reposition mine recently as it began to shimmy over to the left due to the vibration of the motor.

Very happy with the GMG center section!

Not sure why this is still lingering. Great center section!

Maybe take an hour this weekend and polish it up. Might add some visual value to it. Just a thought.
