Seat are 99% perfect. I am asking $7900 plus shipping (I estimate shipping to be $200 per seat insured via Fedex). Derived from the Carrera GT and made from genuine carbon fiber. These are the same seats which are optional in the European market, commonly known as the 997 GT3 seats. Weighing 24.4 pounds each, they are among the lightest seats available on a standard production car. They offer a valuable weight saving over the standard sports seats of approximately 53 lbs. These come directly from Porsche, featuring a Carbon Fiber back, Black Leather Seat with Alcantara center cushions. They come complete, with the shells, rails, and sliders. i texted this guy -- definitely scammer
pm me for details if you care |
Likely same scam as before - hacked log-in so appears as forum member with history of posts. Contact with text only and then bank wire, western union or paypal friend/family (this limits fraud protection from paypal) for deposit/payment. If it smells bad...

It showed "sold" right outta the shoot. I thought someone got a great deal, and someone was selling them waayyyy too cheap, if they were real.

Definitely a scam. I had to use Paypal Seller Protection to get a refund on some brakes.
Seller failed to ship after 10 days and then demanded I pay $530 more via MoneyGram for "packaging and insurance". I immediately said hell no and go a refund by paypal. As always, I paid with Paypal "goods and services" so full purchase price will be refunded. (never use Friends and Family unless you know for sure its legit) Interesting that seller appeared to be on here for a year with significant posting history. But like someone said, probably a hacked account. Hopefully mods delete this Phoenix604 account soon. |

I think there should be a more generic sticky thread entitled 'SCAM NOTIFICATIONS' or something like that. Then whenever someone has a suspicion or confirmation of a scam they can post to that thread, we'll see it go 'bold' and can check in on what it might be.

When someone asks for a Friends & Family payment, I just tell them I'll add the 4%. If they don't like that, it's a big indicator that it's not legit, because no legitimate seller with the actual goods should have an objection to that.
The pricing on these isn't really out of line as I've seen legitimate versions of these go for $8,000-$8,500. |
Just got an email from this "Phoenix604" stating he had an item I was looking for. The email had an link to a log in that looks like Rennlist but isn't. Further Phoenix 604 isn't even listed as a user here. The email is a gmail account but it is titled "Discussion Forums Phoenix604".
How would this person get my email if not a user? Anyone else get this? |
I also got a spam-type email from Phoenix604, with a link to "rennlisten". Needless to say, I did not click.
