Trying to figure out if these will fit on my 997.2 GTS (wide body CL).

Factory wheels are 8.5x19 ET56, 11x19 ET51

These appears to be 9x18 ET43, 12x18 ET48

Can anyone confirm fit?

Default Clearances

I am a little concerned with the front fender clearance (997.2 GTS) for the following reason:

Recently, I installed Cup car LCAs to get increase negative camber up front which is now set to -2.8degrees. Moreover, the car has SPASM and the factory lowering springs, so between the two items, there is not much clearance to the front fenders right now.

Due to offsets and increased wheel width, it seems like the face of the BBS wheel will extend out an additional 3/4" or so which brings the clearances even tighter - maybe too tight.

Here is the math:

Factory front is 8.5 x 19 ET 56
BBS is 9x18 ET 43
So, front of rim moves outward .25" due to rim width and another .5" (13mm) due to offset difference for 0.75" total (my math could be wrong - please check).

Rears visually appear to have more clearance and they don't steer so I'm not sure I need to be as concerned; nonetheless, here's the math:
Factory Rear 11x19 ET 51
BBS is 12x19 ET 48
So, outside of rim moves out around .5"+

Thoughts?

My 3rd set of wheels went to a 997.2 GT3 narrow body with same Cup LCA's and fronts work great.

Default LCAs

That car has adjustable spring stops/ride height on the dampers, mine does not due to stock non-GT3 PASM - do you know if they had to make any adjustments?

No idea on the details of this but if you like a front wheel shipped for fitment I can ship one in the morning. Going .5 wider on the wheel using the same tire will not effect the width of the same tire to the best of my knowledge.

I'm gonna take a closer look tonight. I achieved increased negative camber in front by shimming the LCAs out while retaining the stock camber plate. In the GT3, the high camber setting on the plate allows tucking in the top of the wheel and shimming the LCA less; hence the fit. I fear the wheel is pushed too far out at the top in my car as setup. Further reason to upgrade the suspension!

The front looks like it wont make it. See attached pic - the outside plane of the tire is already just inside the fender - the BBS rims would move that plane nearly 3/4" outside the fender. Couple that with the top of the tire being just under the fender clearance and that leaves too little room. If I had adjustable camber plates it could probably work. Rears seem fine.

Sorry - the pic rotated outside my control - scale is vertical to top of fender.
