Default FS Porsche 964 Sound Suppressor

Is this an add on part or something that is already installed on 964s?
If add on, does it reduce radio interference noise? About to have a stereo and led headlights installed in a 964 so this caught my eye. A p/n search turned up nothing.

I am pretty sure that it depends on the year of your 964. I know that 89-90's did not have it, not sure the year they added them. May be able to see if you open rear fuse box.
