You can install our SHIFT-RIGHT Solution ball bearing shift kit into your existing 996 shifter for an even better solution! It replaces the major pivot points with new billet aluminum and hi-load ball bearing components.

That will preserve your current shifter throw length, which is already identical to the Cup shifter throw length.
