Default GT2 Sport Bucket seats for sale

Category: Accessories
Price (no $ sign please): $8000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (select ONLY those which apply): 987, 997
Location (Region): Canada
Item Condition: Used

Selling my full leather GT2 Sport Bucket seats. I purchased these seats in 2014 from a Porsche SA who took them out of his GT3 RS. I have used them only in the summer the past two years in my 997.2 GTS as I have a set of Sport Seats with heat that I use in the winter. Seats are located in Calgary, Canada. Looking for $8,000 U.S. Price DOES NOT including shipping or insurance; will arrange to suit buyer.

Seats are in excellent condition, with minor scuffing on the driver's side bolster from previous owner's use (he is a large fellow). I haven't put any additional wear on the bolster as I support myself with my left arm on the sill, then lift/drop myself into the seat. There is also a scuff in the clearcoat on the rear of the passenger seat. It may buff out if someone has the tools and the knowledge to take on the task. I also have an extra set of rail covers that will be included in the sale.

NOTE: the photos are from the same multiple angles for the driver and passenger seats; driver seat photos are labelled D1 through D10, passenger seat photos are P1 through P11. Photo labels are visible if you download/save the images.

I'm interested in these for my 2011 gen-1 Boxster Spyder.

Quick question - no crests in head rests, correct?

I received a PM wondering whether the driver's seat back/cushion was crooked. With the GT2 seats, there are 3 separate removable pieces - the back, lumbar and seat cushion - that attach with velcro. If they get misaligned, you just pull 'em out and re-position them.

On re-read of PM, the question was whether the gap was uneven where the seatback folds. No...the seatback is straight, and the gap is pretty even; just a back-lighting and angle thing in the original picture. The leather and the cushioning does have some flex where the seatback folds though, so it will shift around a bit with use.

Just to reassure your PM writer: these seats are made of fiberglass inner shells bonded to carbon fiber outer shells. The pivot points for the hinges are steel, but they are laminated into the shells. There is no way for these seats to be "bent". The only way one of these seats would not be straight is if a shell was broken and laminated back together at an angle. Not very likely.

Have these too and love them.

These are OEM...depends what other OEM Porsche seat you are talking about, and whether it's driver or passenger side.

Short answer: about 16 pounds lighter than a Sport Seat. Longer, detailed answer here: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...-2010-gt3.html
