For sale is a set of Porsche branded roof racks that include the towers and the crossbars for the 996 and I believe the 997 model years. These mount directly into the mounting brackets in the roof.

Price is negotiable and buyer pays for shipping.

I use these same bars on my 996 Turbo. She kind of looks like a hot girl in geeky glasses with them fitted but with a tray on top these bars serve to get my second set of wheels around the place sometimes. Obviously I don't use her full performance envelope when they're up there as those wheels are heavy and I wouldn't want to test fate.

Sort of ... they've come down in price quite a bit new. They're selling for $490 at Suncoast, Sunset and Gaudin right now.
