thats a great buy on the hans but the shipping is way overpriced. shouldn't be more than 15$ to ship it priority mail

Agreed, the shipping should be less expensive. However the final price, which is all that matters, is very good.

Please note European manufactured HANS devices like this Schroth part are not SFI certified and cannot be SFI certified. They are grey market parts imported illegally and will not be serviced by HANS in the USA or Canada.

Here is their statement below regarding the Schroth Hans. Let me know if that is incorrect.


The Schroth Super Sport is FIA approved and value priced with the same performance as the Professional Series HANS device and constructed from an injection molded super structural carbon composite. The lower rounded collar saves on weight and allows for easier entry/exit in many smaller, tighter vehicles. Sliding tethers come standard.

Thank you for the post. I now understand that SFI is US,Canada,Mexico and FIA is elsewhere. I have purchased a HANS Model 20 sport 2 SFI from another vendor at a good price as well.
