For sale is a set of 17" 996 twist wheels. 7" fronts and 9" rears. No curb rash on any of the wheels and paint is in great condition. They have some scratches and nicks on them that can be seen in the pictures. I would rate 3 of the wheels 8.5/10 and one of the rears 7.5/10 (due to some nicks on the face). Rear tires are in fair shape, but I would replace them anyway. $500 + shipping. Located in Los Angeles, CA. PM or call (858) 367-0108. Have a nice weekend, gents!

They're for a 944, and I want 7" wide all around (like the stock wheels). There are a pair for sale on eBay, which would make four with these. Not sure I want to deal with selling the wider wheels in addition to my phone dials, so I understand why want to sell all at once.

Ru944 - the Fuchs option for the early 944 was 7" front and 8" rear. The 951 came with 7" front and 8" rear, the turbo S came with 7" and 9". The 968 came with 7" and 8" or 7.5" and 9". So overall, the 944 is intended to have staggered widths, and most people with 15x7 that change to 17" go with the 7 and 9 setup.
Going from 15x7 all around to 17x7 and 17x9 will not increase your understeer at all. It will decrease your oversteer.
Just FYI. Not affiliated with the seller. On the market for some cheap track wheels but these are too nice / too expensive for me.

Hmm, interesting... Thanks for the advice!
I have an '86 944NA, and right now it's on stock suspension and wheels with Bilstein heavy duty shocks. There isn't a rear sway bar (factory option through '87, I think). I'm getting a 14mm rear bar and a 21.5mm front bar. Right now, the handling is pretty understeer biased. Of course, neutral handling is the goal. Maybe it's best to wait for the sway bars, and then decide on wheels? If just the sways bring the handling to where I want it, then stick with the 7" wheels; if the sways bring in too much oversteer, 7" and 9".
Sorry for the thread hijack, 964Q!

Will they fit on a 1989 Carrera 4? I am new to Porsche and 964s and wondering whether the all wheel drive is an issue with staggered wheel sizes? Anyone have any advice? I like the look of twists on 964s and would be interested if they are a bolt on.

Meatball, please PM me a zip I can go by. Residential or commercial? I'm guessing $160 with the tires (shipped tire rack style). I could dismount the tires, but I'd rather not deal with it.
