For sale a two year old AIM SOLO DL unit, in perfect working order. I ended up with two units and this one was a spare ultimately. Comes with CAN cable, charger and cables. All you would need is a preferred mounting solution (I believe it is about $40 mounting cup from AIM) and to set it up for your vehicle (unit is already updated to latest firmware).

Buyer pays PayPal fees (if any) and shipping (should be low as it is light).

Josh,

I know some vendors may chime in and tell you about sampling rates and cpu bandwidth etc, but here is my experience from an end user point of view:

1. Wifi vs. USB - DL2 utilizes Wifi data downloading ONLY. This is convenient at the track as you can just sync it with your or someone else's laptop, but I actually prefer the DL1 USB approach, as it allows for easier download on my desktop at home.
2. Display - DL2 has a multi color display that allows for greater customization. However DL1 has a slightly bigger display that I found easier to see while driving. I think both are equally good overall.
3. Measurement - I did not find any real difference in the timing element, both are excellent.
4. SmartyCam - Both integrate with SmartyCam flawlessly.
5. Software - DL2 utilizes RaceStudio 3 only, while DL1 utilizes RaceStudio 2. User interface and device update process is therefore different. I honestly find the AIM software terrible in general, so it's a draw for me.
6. Features - DL2 does have predictive time lights, which DL1 does not. This is a neat feature as it tells you throughout the lap whether you are faster or slower than your best lap (red slow, green fast)

Only real reason I ended up with DL2 is because a friend had it at cost, otherwise probably would not have upgraded.

Hope this helps Josh.
