FYI, per carsnavigation.com (note: no infringement or affiliation implied);
"Can only be used with software version “B” in PCM 2.1. If “A” software is present, your local dealer may need to update the PCM software (effects 2005-06 cars only), you can check your software version; while the car is running, press “MAIN” and “TRIP” at the same time. A new screen will be displayed, with the rotary knob select the option “PCM”. The version will be displayed. The level must be “05024xxx” or higher. If it’s lower, then additional software updates will be required.
This update includes new maps equipped with DVD navigation that provide the very latest in road updates, routing and location changes. New and expanded coverage in major cities and metropolitan markets with additional points of interest are featured. The update also includes a greater accuracy of arrival time prediction.
