I just had this steering wheel modified by www.carsdream.com in Poland. It was recovered in smooth leather on the top and bottom and perforated leather on the sides. It was also thickened and hand grips added. It is light grey in color.

This steering wheel will fit 1996 to 1998 993s and Boxsters & Carrera that came with 4-spoke steering wheels. Some 1995 and early 1996 993 air bags will not fit this wheel. Look at the air bag retention frame to verify fitment.

Now, the back story.... I bought a used four spoke steering wheel (the one listed here) and sent if off to Carsdream to have it modified. I had it finished in light grey because I had planned on having it dyed in Cedar Green to match my air bag and interior. I knew the air bag retention frame was different but planned on swapping the one out of my current wheel. Unfortunately, this is not possible. The early steering wheels are different too. Thus, this gets sold at a loss and I am on the hunt for a 1995 wheel.
