3.8L M97 engine, machined and Nickie sleeved at LN Engineering from the original 3.4L engine from my 07 Cayman S. The engine suffered oil starvation at a DE which was confirmed by the teardown. Prior to that the engine was rebuilt which is when it was converted into a 3.8L and upgraded with Carrillo rods, JE pistons, and ARP bolts. The heads were rebuilt with new valve guides and a complete valve job. The crankshaft may or may not be rebuildable and I will include it with the engine. One rod and possibly one piston will also need to be replaced. Included in the package will be the block, heads, crankshaft, crank carrier, covers, cam and intermediate shafts, lifters, chain rails, and other internals. This would make a great way to go for someone looking to build up a new engine with some extra umph. Just the LN Engineering work is $5000, I will let the whole package go for ~~$5895~~ $4500. Would prefer local pickup but if not add on the packaging and shipping costs, this is a heavy package.
