FS: Carrera S 20" Alloy Wheels (from a 981-series Cayman GTS)
Category: Wheels & Tires Price (no $ sign please): $2100 Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing Location (Region): NorthWest Item Condition: Used
I listed these wheels previously -- in a thread now closed -- without an asking price. Several Rennlist members have since offered up guidance for their value -- thank you! -- so I'm relisting them with a price.
I've got a set of like-new OEM Carrera S 20" wheels -- in sizes 8.0J x 20 (front) and 9.5J x 20 (rear) -- which were removed from my 2015 Cayman GTS after delivery. As a result, they are blemish-free and show as-new.
They are unshod (i.e., without tires). They are silver. The price is $2100 plus shipping (i.e., I'll box them for shipment, but the shipping costs are on you).
Thanks for your interest.
Kindest,
Christopher

Original Thread:
Hi Folks,
I'm new to this forum, but I've been around the community for years -- including serving as the Chief Driving Instructor for the Oregon chapter of the PCA in 2009.
Last fall, I picked up a 2015 981-series Cayman GTS. The car came with race seats and aftermarket wheels installed.
Consequently, I've got a set of like-new OEM Carrera S 20" wheels -- in sizes 8.0J x 20 (front) and 9.5J x 20 (rear) -- which I've no use for.
I've no idea what they're worth, so I'm asking "best offer, you pay shipping." I'm based in Portland.
Thanks for the consideration. If anyone has any sense of what these are worth, I'd appreciate the input.
I boxed the wheels up for shipping today. In the process, I took photos, including shots of the few (and almost unnoticeable) cosmetic blemishes. I'll upload them shortly. Also, to calibrate the cost of shipping, I ran the weights and box dimensions through two online calculators to estimate the cost to ship the wheels from Portland, Oregon to Arlington, Virginia (picked randomly to represent a "cross country" destination). Using UPS, the quoted cost was $216. Using FedEx Ground, the cost was $205.
