Will the radio ***** work on the standard radio, or do you have to have PCM?

Also, if anyone else could comment on quality of these items when they get theirs that would be great!

Hello, yes of course, back in June we released our third generation switches (V3) which offer a HUGE and fantastic improvement over the V1 and V2 versions. Its important to point out, some Porsche dealers and indy shops are currently installing our replacement buttons around the globe, and we are very proud of this.

You can also check this video, which shows the overall look and feel:

Hello Cosmo Kramer, the PCM ***** are different to the standard radio.

There are recent pictures and comments from Rennlist members regarding our replacement buttons, here are some quotes:

As mentioned in this post, we released V2 version back in April and V3 back in September. All the comments in those links refer to V1, which is a different product (different technology, different design, different materials... everything is new!) so it really makes no sense to post those comments here

We are glad to say we had not a single return inquiry since we released V3 (and very very few with V2).

Best regards,
John

Light does seem to come past the slats a little bit. But I can't remember if that was the case on the originals. And there is a slight gap in the side.. very small, but a tiny bit of light does get past there too. Overall though, I think it's a big improvement on what I had. The original ones I had were a total mess.

Hello Chris, that light was in issue on a production set we produced a certain month. Seems you received one of those. We are happy to replace the buttons in case you feel you want to do so.

Best regards
John

Hey John - Ahh gotcha.. you wasn't sure if that was normal. Apart from that tho, they are spot on.

But yeah, if that works.. I'd be up for trying the ones that don't let the light pass through.

Is it possible for you guys to mail out the new set, then I can mail back the old ones once they arrive? I put my originals in the trash already

Thanks again!
Chris

Look over here don't look over there. Funny I had already requested a return on a V3 button/switch in early December...took 2 months to get my money back, and had to resort to a paypal dispute to get all of it back. John's response to my paypal dispute (sic): " Hi, as we already told you we dont know if the product was damaged during transportation or after it was in your hands." Paypal decided in my favor.

This is not an isolated experience based on the prior threads on his products...nor the most recent post in this thread.

Hello TuonoR,

That is not correct, we decided to refund you, not paypal. Plus we offered you from the very first day to send you a replacement set, which you denied.

Best regards,
John
