There are a few marks in the silver paint on the sides, but if yours is better in this area, you can also remove the front section that has the plastic over the gauge faces and bezels from your current cluster and install it on this one instead, moving this one to your current one. I've also seen other plasti-dip the bezels in different colors to make their interiors more unique, which would also cover the marks in the silver paint.
I never installed it in my car (actually unwrapped it for the first time today), but bought it from a reputable seller, and I will guarantee it works once powered up. If there are any problems with it you can return it to me (you pay return shipping) for a refund. I think you might have to have a dealer install and code it so that it preserves the original mileage of the vehicle, but am not sure about that.

That's a good question and I don't know whether the mileage is stored in the DME or the cluster itself or what the mileage on this one reads if connected, as I never installed or connected it to my car. My plan was to use this one temporarily while I sent my original one to RUF for the upgrade, but decided not to do it. I don't know if the dealer can recode the mileage correctly into the new cluster with PIWIS to keep everything consistent.
