This unit was completely refurbished by North Hollywood Speedo in 2010

Replacement unit is $2k!

I replaced it because I was tired of doing math in my head to figure out how big a ticket I was going to get at the speed I was travelling (and the fact that if I get caught doing 50 km/h over the limit they tow my car)

This unit is Mint, and is a 5 min swap to replace your broken/cracked/peeling Tach!

So the backlight and digits work perfect?

Mine is acting up on my 993TT, partial segments in the digits are missing so contemplating fixing or maybe buy yours, works out to be the same. Good point about calculating I'd be in the same boat too.

Backlights and Digits are perfect, all of the functions (temp, boost, etc) work perfectly. Because of my height (6'2") my steering wheel covers the speedo most of the time, so I was watching the digital readout on the tach :)
