Build 1 without a doubt. The sound quality on Burmester is exquisite and love the massage seats. It helps with the long drive. The rear entertainment is also good for the baby. It keeps them quiet and entertained. I would only go for PCCB if you are tracking the car, which I don't think you are due to the fact that you are getting long wheelbase version. If I'm not wrong, I believe the brake discs on the 4e hybrid are bigger than 4S. I own 2018 Panamera 4S and the brakes are already very good. Hope this helps!

You make alot of sense. I just keep second guessing you know...and its annoying. I am leaning more on build 1 just like you said but I really like those huge *** yellow brake calipers look on the Porsche and they said generate alot less brake dust. But you got good reasoning. Build 1 is more practical and useful however other Porsche panamera owners say PCCB is only for track use but then again Porsche Turbo S comes standard with PCCB ...so does that mean those buyers that buy Turbo S will/ must all track?

9-10 months wait is gonna be painful!

I would definitely go with build 1. I personally couldn't justify the cost of PCCB.

How many times do I have to say....E-Hybrids rarely actually use their brakes!!! It becomes a [fun] activity to maximise regenerative braking so you see the charge rise. PCCB is a true waste of money.

Build 1 all the way! Rear entertainment really is great and if I had the cash, I would have sprung for Burmeister...now, go place the order and start getting excited!

Thanks AJ your the best! So today I went to my guy at Porsche to change and he looked at my build # 1 and he strongly recommend that I HAVE TO add OEM Porsche 21in wheels as it will have big impact to its residual value years down the road and if I decide to trade back to Porsche as Certified Pre-Owned one day, they will not accept aftermarket wheels even if it looks better or more expensive.
So these are my 2 build that I need your help. AGAIN! Thanks in advance.

I called my sales today and he said my status is now V170 (some kind of pre-build stage). It needs to move to V200 before an allocation date would be determined. He also says V170 could mean there are some options could potentially delay the production. Don't know if they would let me know what options are having issues thus I can make my mind to build without it or just wait.

Do the above sounds right?

Hi Kw411,
Get your sales person to email the GM so He can email Porsche Germany to find out. Of course they should let you know, they respond to how you react. You are the customer...you are giving THEM money. You should be more demanding. Btw the way ask for expensive gifts for buying Porsche from them..at least $500!
What is your build options list..? care to share?

Hi PorscheCFP

My sales said his manager called Porsche Canada today and waiting for their reply.......

My spec is currently like this

2018 Sport Turismo e-hybrid

Agate Grey
21" 911 Turbo Design Wheel
All Season Tire
Wheel Center Cap w/ Color Crest
Saddle Brown/Luxor Beige Leather
Premium Plus Package w/ PDLS+
Assistant Package
Sport Design
Par Assist
Rear Axle Steering w/ Power Steering Plus
Sport Tailpipes in Black
Load Management System
Carbon Fibre Interior Package
7.2 KW Onboard Charger

I was thinking weather to get the Sport Exhaust, but figure out mostly driving in the e-power "quiet mode" which contradict to have a loud exhaust system.
Another option that I should put in is the 4-zone climate control, but probably won't do it as my active young son may kick/play around and destroy it!!

Hi Kw411,

I am planning to get the same 21inch Turbo Design wheels on ebay for $1500 CDN and buy Michelin Sport tires from Coscto at $1800 which will cost $3300 but Porsche charges $6040.

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/21-2017-PANA...%257Ciid%253A1

I think the Sport exhaust is very important as it gives Porsche cars its character but the good thing is you can turn it on or off. I say to myself if I am getting Premium Package Plus.. I might as well add $1360 for massage seats (front). The 4-zone climate, I was thinking the same thing as I got a young son as well but he will sit in his baby car seat and cars watching cartoons which the PRSE will make a world of a difference. I dont see the Load space management in Canada website build for Panamera .... where is it lol? Its weird that we spend almost exactly the same amount on options but yet I feel that my car options to yours is pretty different. I had to get Burmester, Massage seats, PRSE, Sport Exhaust...but to my surprise.. my options list is around $40,000 just like yours.

are you leasing or buying cash for your beautiful spec. car?

I'm not sure whether people with Panamera Turbo S will track or not but for that price, I think PCCB should come standard. As for your build, I would personally still go for Build 1 and add PDLS Plus. When I first got my 4S, I regretted not adding it. It looks so much better than normal PDLS but that's just my opinion. I'm not sure about the residual values that your sales person said as this is my first Porsche.

Hi crack3rd,

Car manufacture will ONLY include PCCB as standard in their most expensive model. All my build have PDLS Plus (part of premium package plus). I change my build options, if you look at my recent reply to Thorfun. Build #1 and #2 both does NOT have PCCB. I was thinking of getting Turbo S but my wife told me to get 4-Hybrid and save $100,000 towards Mission E or perhaps Lamborghini Urus lol

Hi PorscheCFP.

I only have short commute, thus Burmester and massage seats are overkill for me. I may consider sport exhaust though, if it really makes a difference. The load management system is an option ($680) under the interior. I may get the winter wheel/tires from ebay, but will just get the standard summer/all season tires from Porsche.

I was thinking buying cash on this, but talking few other friends including people in the industry, they say leasing may be a better option as we can opt to keep or change a new car every few years. Your thoughts?

Hi PorscheCFP,

I think that you and I are in different places in our lives, you have a 2 year old baby and I am a retired 55 year old but out of your two builds I would go with #1.
If you don't mind me asking, what is your reason for the 7.2kW Charger? are you going to be charging at work? my thinking is that the only time my car will be on charge is when I get home and then it will be on all night, plenty time for the 3.6kW.

I ordered this in June, my original delivery date was September 2nd!!! now it looks like maybe a February delivery?

Base Price Panamera 4 E-Hybrid
$113,400
Price for Equipment
$23,650
Destination Charge
$1,250
Price
$138,300
+15% Luxury Tax in BC for a total of $159,045 CAD

Volcano Grey Metallic

Leather Interior in Black/Chalk

Premium Package Plus

LED-Headlights incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)

Hi Galavanta

Are you also in Vancouver? Same as PorscheCFP, I am ordering the 7.2KW charger. I just like the idea to have the fast charger just in case I need it. Has your car been built? What's your experiences with Porsche Vancouver?
