Post After much lurking here, I got my first ever Porsche: GT Silver

2017 Panamera: base model, GT Silver with black interior. Absolutely love it! Can't believe it's mine. I couldn't resist the combination of this color and the black wheels.

The only thing I don't like: it came with the "Deletion of model designation" option, which is weird. Especially on a base model.

Still, I'm having a ball with it. Hope it's ok for me to share with you guys.

deletion of the model designation should be standard IMO. If they don't know its a panamera, they don't care anyway.

cleans up the back end too.

Default Absolutely agree

Hi gradvilleJB

I'm too a GT Silver Owner!. Just picked up the car on friday. I went for 4S Diesel and it is extremely fast!.
Scary how fast it can go.

What options and model did you go for ?
I'm thinking that the side wing flares could have been in gloss black to match my mirrors!.

David, now I wish my mirrors were black, too. They look great on yours!

Congrats! It looks great. I also opted for the base model. It's more than enough in a car like this, and with the torque on hand, it feels in some cases just as fast as my 991 C4S.

Did you get the air PASM? The ability to lower the stance with the push of a button is one of my favorite things about it.

in the UK, its standard although you have to actually pay for it as an option; they are advising in Aug 2017, there will be an update, implying we can choose not to have it.

Wow! That looks stunning! :-) Similar colour scheme to my Macan that I had in Rhodium Silver with gloss black 21" Sport Classic wheels. I opted for de-badging on my Panamera 4 for that cleaner look. Am just now thinking of getting my standard exhausts changed for the Sport tailpipes. I agree that the base 3.0 engine is plenty powerful enough.

Thor - I have been reliably informed that we can even get the sports exhaust at some point in the next few months...

I've still not heard anything re being on the boat!

Checked with my UK Porsche Centre today. Not yet possible to get the Sport tailpipes retrofitted to my 2017 Panamera 4. They said that may well change and to keep an eye on the Tequipment website...
