Hi. I went from Macan 2.0 to 911 (991.1 C2) and now into a new Panamera 4. For me, it's the ideal combination of the practicality of the Macan and the sportiness of the 911. Had to let the 911 go, as the rear seats were just too small for my growing daughters. Loving the Panny and very much see it as a 4 seat/5 door 911. :-)

I'm also thinking about upgrading my Macan GTS to a Panamera sport turismo 4s or e hybrid sport turismo. The pros on the Macan would be the ease of side stepping in and out of the car and actual buttons.
I think the Sport Turismo would have more room, quieter cabin, sportier drive and an overall upgrade. I had test driven a 17 Panamera 4 for a day from the dealer and am strongly considering one due to it being a little better in almost every way compared to the Macan. The bose sounds a little better so I'm thinking the burmester would be awesome?
I would like to have the ultimate family car along with a sports car and thinking about a 991.2 GT3 with a panny as daily drive. Now which Panamera is the best value and adequate for daily drive without annoyance.

I personally think the Panamera 4 with 3.0 petrol V6 is the best overall value, which is why I chose it! ;-)
Am not convinced that the Sport Turismo is much more practical, as the 5th seat is very compact/restricted and the luggage capacity is hardly any bigger.
A Panamera and a 991.2 GT3 would indeed be a dream pairing. Just two problems. I don't have enough £££s and over here at least, the GT3 is virtually impossible to get hold of without being very high up on your Porsche Centre's VIP list...

I have a 2014 Panamera S e-Hybrid, and I love it. I had it in for service, and the dealer loaned me a Macan. I like the way the Macan drives, but I found it really small. I had been thinking that the Macan might be my next vehicle, but not anymore. The problem for me is I really don't like the new Panamera. You'll love the Panamera...like somebody said, it is the best of all worlds (I've had a 911), but if I were in your shoes, I'd find a great deal on last year's Panamera. The new one doesn't have enough Porsche look to me.
