Unhappy 2017 Panamera clicking noise

Hi, I just got my 2017 panamera turbo month ago.

What happen is when I drive in very low speed like in garage speed or when I brake the car to stop, I can hear some clicking noise or plastic noise. It not that load, but when you turn off your music, you can hear it. It is not always, but lie happen in 6 or 7 times during total 10 times. It is not affect the driving but I just hate that noise and it never happen in my other porsche before( cayanne, cayman)

I took to repair but they can't fix it because the car is too new.

Anyone have same problem like mine? please help

I don't experience it on my new Panamera! I think you will contact your dealer about it and let them check it!

I hear when leaving a car park and stopping at lights - but lasts a few seconds and goes away. Almost like a clock ticking sound as if something is adjusting following start-up. But then it stops.

I have the same, it is a ticking noise and it is permanent - you don´t hear it so much at higher speeds because of tire noise. It comes from the high pressure pump and I wish there would be a solution for this problem, but I don´t think so.

I have this noise too and I hate it! It has interfered with my enjoyment of my Panamera. It is a clicking from behind driver's firewall at slow to moderate speed when the car is just cruising.. I find it bothersome and have complained to the highest levels of Porsche customer service in N. America.. I finally raised enough of a stink about it that I got an appointment with a corporate technical rep from Porsche N. America. He was a very nice person, and he spent more than 90 minutes with me in my car, along with three other new Panameras all of which illustrated some form of the same noise. He did not deny the presence of the noise, but said it is the nature of the drivetrain and fuel injection system. He basically agreed that it could be bothersome to some owners, but said it was a characteristic of the car... This is a horribly sad excuse from Porsche... This is my fourth Panamera, going back to 2010... and I find this new generation to the least satisfying Panamera because of this noise.. I actually am starting to dislike my car because of it and it taints my impression of Porsche... I would love to dump this car and find something else at this point. If enough people complain maybe they will address the issue with some added noise deadening, fittings or other suppression techniques, but we need to make our voices heard.

Hey guys
Have you guys tried turning off the automatic engine stop feature? I have the sound when it is on - I think it is the engine getting confused on whether or not to shut off or not. try disabling it!

I have a 971T and I have the engine knocking at about 3 k RPMS, ( rarely but it annoys me) they can’t figure out the problem, they have already emptied out gas tank and adjusted oxygen gas ratio, still they haven’t figured it out , car has 2K mikes , still at the shop for a week plus now.

Wait... In my Panny I don't have the "clock" so I wouldn't know. You're not telling me that clock is actually ticking, as in "ticking while making a sound like an old cuckoo clock from the 19th century"?

This is a joke right? Please tell me it's a joke : (

Yeah same question here: since exactly which model / MY did this problem start manifesting itself? Only on 971.2? Are 971.1 affected too? (thinking about swapping my 970.1 for a 970.2 or 971.1 one of these days).

Default My 2014 panamera does the same.

Sounds like a clock ticking. Sometime I hear it when car is first started up cold and some sometimes I don't. It's very irritating. Driving it, it can be heard in low engine idle and sometime at higher rpm. The ticking sound speeds up with engine rpm.
The dealer says that its normal for a porsche. What I want to know, how to make Porsche deal with this issue?
