I have a 2017 turbo and had the dealer tint. it was not 1000$. the only thing i am not happy about i listened to them and did the max legal , now i need to redo and make it a little darker than legal allowed. You should not pay that much for it as my redoing it is still less than 1000$.

Tint is not the main reason for price. Windows are double pain so quieter inside. I would not have a lux car without it. My wife RR has them and can barley hear a diesel truck siting next to it in traffic.

Why can't Porsche make tint a factory option for the rear and quarters. I'd rather have colored glass vs a film.
