Not sure what you mean by street charging. Any commercial EV charger is going to have a J1772 plug on the end, and the car takes that directly, no need for the EVSE (the "Porsche Universal Charger") that comes with the car.

There may be times when I'm visiting my son at his home and I want to charge up the car. Then I believe I will need the Universal Charger and the cable with the J1772 plug on the end. I think in England apparently there are locations where they can charge up their car but no cable/plug included. Right AJ?

this is correct! my local train station is one such place and it's a bit annoying as i was hoping to charge the car while i'm in the city working.

What are the plugs like, in these locations that are for public EV charging but don't have a J1772 cable? You mention that neither the conventional Mains plug or the 3-pin outdoor plug are "suitable," so it must be something else. Looking at the Wikipedia page on UK electrical sockets, there are 3 sizes of the round-pin BS 546 standard, and one of the rectangular-pin BS 1363 standard (which sounds like the outdoor 3 plug you mention).

This is actually less confusing than the huge variety of 220v standard sockets in the US, which come in 7 different varieties. Primarily because very few devices use anything other than then 110 volt NEMA 5-15, so they tend to get dedicated sockets (i.e. dryers).

Type 2 socked in the UK is most common, which is what the e-Hybrid has on it (female version obviously). I have ordered cable and intend to keep it in the boot for the occasional London commute and train parking spaces which are right next to the entrance : ).
