Road Force Wheels? RF15
All:
Newbie to the forums, and newbie to Porsche. Previous vehicles: Acura CL, VW Phaeton, MB C230, MB CLS500, MB GL450, Audi Q7, MB CL550, Jaguar XJL, Panamera 4 (no S, or GTS) :( And of course the basic cars that don't compare Infiniti G37, Nissan Sentra x2, Ford Escort (LOL). I've only had the panny a few weeks. But it's already up there with my favorites. Of those favorites were the Phaeton, the CL550, and Jaguar XJL. I hope the reliability holds up. It's a 2013. I swore off VW products after the Phaeton, then gave them another chance with the Q7 they again proved to me that they're problem vehicles but I couldn't resist the Panamera. So I'm hoping they'll prove me wrong on reliability. The Phaeton and Q7 were plagued with electrical gremlins. That and issues I've never experience with any car. Always window switches, leaky sunroof due to drains on the Q7, mysterious battery drain. And the Phaeton, always some sort of "electrical module". Anyway at least I managed to get a 2013 not the model year Panny with the engine metal bolt issue. That's scary! So there's my newbie intro. I was wondering if anyone has anything to say about the Road Force RF15 wheels? Anyone running them on their car? I'm looking to go the 22" route. Never heard of Road Force wheels. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...74e19df9f4.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...ffbb293772.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...20b28b7b9e.jpg |
Welcome to the community! Congratulation on picking up your Panamera, that is a superb car and is one of our favorite Porsches to drive. In the event you are looking to pick up a new set of wheels for your car, take a look at our product thread here. It would be a pleasure to work with you and have a set of our wheels featured on your car! :)

Well no one responded, but I went ahead and picked up some 22" Road Force wheels, they definitely make the car look 10 times better. I've always hated 5 spoke.

The wheels look good, how do they ride? What tires are you running on them? I see you're in MD so I'm assuming these are only for the spring/summer/fall

Update
Update:
They're running great. A bit of road noise but I attribute that to the cheaper tires I'm running. Hit some pretty harsh potholes that I'm sure would have bent my previous 3 piece wheels. Since these are one piece they held up well no bends to date. Most one piece wheels are stronger than 3 piece for reasons I won't go into. |
