Looking for a new exhaust, not too noisy.
Hello fellow Rennlisters,
Hope you all doing well.
I am currently looking for an exhaust system for my 2011 PTTS. I have the sport exhaust at the moment which I can control with the button.
Is there an exhaust out there that is as quiet as the original exhaust when closed, but louder than the stock exhaust when open?
Considering on changing cats as well with the 200 thingie.
I do a lot of traveling that's why I need it to be quiet when closed.
Thanks a lot guys!

I can give feedback on the PSE and TechArt.
I put the TechArt on my 16 Macan Turbo - it's much louder than stock at start-up because the valves are open, then it because as quiet as stock once the valves close. It's also integrated into the computer so you just press the sport button to activate the exhaust, which is nice - no extra remotes etc... When you open the exhaust up in sport mode, it is much louder, which I really like.
The PSE on my Panamera Turbo is almost as loud as the TechArt but not as loud. I know we're talking V8/V6, but being aftermarket I'm confident TechArt is louder.
I wouldn't change your cats to highflow 200 cell unless you do a tune. You shouldn't get any smell but it's a possibility.
I think you'd be happy with either the TechArt or PSE. For your scenario, I wouldn't recommend changing to high-flow cats.
If you need a hook-up for the TechArt and you are serious, let me know and PM me.

Yes there is.
I did the FVD mid-pipe exhaust mod. Larger pipe diameter, removes oem center resonator & keeps oem sport muffler option.
Sounds really nice open or close from the outside. You cant hear it on the highway etc.

I have the Frequency Intelligent Exhaust System and it is an absolute work of art, in terms quality. It is a valved exhaust so the sound only comes on when the valves are opened. This system does not delete the resonator, so you won't have to worry about cabin drone.

There are a few options, we're going through the same process on our Panamera TT Build. I want to retain the PSE "bi-modal" functionality but have something more aggressive with the valves open. The center section is the easiest to address, cost-effective and easy to install. Downpipes will also help bring some more flow/noise. Feel free to PM us and we can help you out. We'll also get some videos up shortly as we'll be installing a downpipe/center section combo and living the factory PSE mufflers.
