so i had to cancel the Volcano Grey, albeit a brilliant colour and spec - I found out that there was a problem with the blind which is still not fixed and hence cancelled.

I've managed to find and bag an alternative. Absolutely stunning, with even more toys built in and on a really good deal.

Ready for collection on Friday, ready for the Bank Holiday!!!.

Also, what company did you go for your GAP ?
I've got the dealer offering it for £976 for 3 years.

I am indeed in the UK - kind of don't want to know how good the deal is...Am happy enough with mine (car TBC), got a little off due to the non-availability of the Matrix lights and then a lot off compared to the 2018 model (it's about a £3k difference).

ALA has been recommended for the GAP.

Call your insurer re the Vodafone system - may or may not make a material difference. I know the new system allows you to set geo fences so probably not needed.

i'm confused by this one AJ. i've ordered the PDLS+ lights which are the matrix LED lights. confused how you couldn't order them.

When I ordered there was a question mark over their availability due to stock issues and I was told it would not let them lock in the order at the time. So either wait (probably could have done now!) and lose slot or go with order with regular LEDs. I saved the extra £750 and then as an apology they took off an additional amount. Am happy enough!

TBH I have the system on my X6 m50D (love that car) and whilst it is truly excellent on some roads, it's just not quite quick enough on us in "trimming the beam" so it causes a degree of anxiety! Am sure the Porsche system is better but this car is costing enough already so am happy to save something!!
