Melissa Witek left 'Porsche Exclusive' to go to
Mercedes Benz USA in Atlanta. Her last day at
PCNA was July 8th, 2016. Matthew Henry left
'Porsche Exclusive' Beverly Hills in 2015 to work
as Sales Manager for Singer Vehicle Design in LA.
Sascha Glaeser (the first manager for the US)
exited 'Porsche Exclusive' in 2014 to head the
Porsche Experience Center in LA. He left PCNA
in 2015 & now consults for Rennwerkstatt
in LA. http://www.rennwerkstatt.us

Many thanks, Eduardo. Useful information, as always.

Should a PTS request be made to these folks directly or to the dealership who would work with them on such a request? And what about CXX options? In other words, what is their role in the ordering process?

I'll start this response by saying that I am less familiar
with the process in Canada than in the US. So we
need the input of Lessthan3mph, Jamie & the many
other experienced Canadian PTS owners.

'Porsche Exclusive' staff serves every Porsche market
as an advisor & facilitator. I would work & coordinate
with BOTH, your dealer & 'Porsche Exclusive'. PTS is
really not a 'Porsche Exclusive' option...but 'Porsche
Exclusive' personnel are the closest thing we have to
a direct link to PTS at PAG right now. So they will need
to help Porsche clients with their questions re: PTS since
its part of the customizing process on the special order
vehicle. Depending on how experienced your dealer is
with PTS, I would rely more than less with the info that
is provided by 'Porsche Exclusive' personnel.

Each & every dealer should have access to the latest
approved PTS colors from PAG. Because we have not
yet convinced PAG to not classify that list as 'Confidential',
it's very hard for you to know if the list shown to you at
your local dealership is the latest & most comprehensive.
I am supplied with the list from time to time by my contacts
at PAG...and sometimes I don't have the latest example.
They seem to be updated every few months, so if you
have one with a date older than that from the time you
receive it, I would double-check with 'Porsche Exclusive'
to make sure you have the latest one with the most
approved colors.

Of course you can request a unique color for your Porsche,
but that could take time. We have seen feasibility periods
of over one year for a requested color. And sometimes the
feasibility test 'fails' and your request is denied. Given the
limited period the PTS window is open on any given Porsche
model, my advice is to order a color already approved for a
previous client. And if you are set on a particular color not
yet approve, try to get that color approved by PAG a few
years in advance of your order. This can be accomplished
only with the cooperation of your local dealer...if he has
enough influence & pull at PAG. Otherwise, you can take
your chances with the feasibility study...but remember that
the PTS window might close before you know the fate of
the requested color.

According to PCNA, they have trained a select number of
'Exclusive Flagship' dealers to be particularly competent in
'Porsche Exclusive' topics. I don't have a report card on how
effective they are yet, but here is the list on PCNA's website:

In Canada, I know that there are several dealers with some
intimate experience with PTS & 'Porsche Exclusive'. They
include Pfaff in Woodbridge, Ontario and Porsche Centre
Calgary. In the latter, I know personally Lawrence Romanosky
(Sales Manager) who I am sure would be happy to assist you
with the PTS process in Canada. His email is:
{lawrencer@porschecentrecalgary.com}

Hope some of this is helpful to you.

Eduardo

Holy Carp, Florian got promoted to the US, if he was here in America already I didn't know. But he deserves it that is fer sure.
That and Sascha was Hired Back. I read that in Beverly Hills eZine. I was Surprised at that one.

My understanding is slightly different
that what you report. Rather than
'Hired Back', Sascha Glaeser is now
for the first time working for an wholly
independent US dealer, Porsche of
Beverly Hills. And I wish Sascha much
success in this new position, where he
will be a tremendous asset to anyone
trying to order a highly customized
Porsche from that dealership. He can
be reached at the contact address &
telephone below:
