Hatch - Trunk lid failure?
Hello - I am hoping someone has a simple resolution to the following issue.
When I use any of the three methods to open the trunk lid (remote key button, handle on the trunk itself and the button on the door), the trunk pops, but will no longer lift and raise on its own.
I can manually raise it (slowly) and it will hold at the top, but when i press the single button I have for the auto close, it beeps three (3) times and will not move. So both up and down are not functioning.
I was hoping there was a simple reset process and that the 3 beeps from the trunk lid simply meant I needed to do just that. Searching here, the internet and calling the dealer to ask have not yielded much info.
Mine is a 2011, Panamera 4S. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Is it possible you had something blocking the closing mechanism recently? I had strap from a bag in the way and the hatch would not go up, or close until i reprogrammed it. http://www.porscheownersmanuals.com/...Opening-Height
Try the link above and see if that helps.
