PTT vs PTT S
#1
Hi guys Other than the 50hp more on the Panamera Turbo S, what other features are standard or different on the S? Is PCCM standard?
Would you think that $10k extra for a used PTT S (vs PTT) are worth it in terms of experience, features and future resale value? Very few PTT S on the market it seems, I have not had a chance to drive one yet ...

Bump. About to pull the trigger on PTTS.

you can go to the Porsche website to see what is different, but it is basically a stronger engine with PCCBs and some added options. I think a $10k difference is worth it if you are comparing a PTT without PCCBs vs a similarly optioned PTTS with PCCBs.
If both have PCCBs, the $10k premium is basically for 10% more HP, which makes it a harder decision. If it were me, I prob would still do it.

I think I may have commented on this on the 6speedonline site, but here it goes:
I have a PTTS. The main difference is the 50 extra HP, but does it make a difference? The answer is yes and no. In city, and low speed driving, you will notice really no difference. The difference will be seen when you accelerate quickly. The PTTS will climb to higher speeds just a little faster than the PTT, but it is not night and day like between a PTTS and a GTS or an S model. The PTTS will reach a higher speed than the PTT, but who will ever go 195mph? I also believe there are some standard features on the PTTS that are not on the PTT, but I'm not sure what those are.
The PTTS did not come standard with PCCB's when it first came out. I know the first year for the PTTS I believe was 2011, and I know for sure that PCCB's were not standard then or in 2012. My 2012 PTTS does not have PCCB. I believe it became standard in 2014.
Owning a PTTS is somewhat exclusive. When I bought mine last February of 2015, the salesman told me that since they started making the PTTS in 2011, less than 600 had been brought to the USA. There are very few around. I have not seen another around anywhere I have been.
