Default Bluetooth + iPod in 2014+ Working?

Has anyone been able to get both their iPod connected via USB and their iPhone connected via Bluetooth to show up in the Source menu simultaneously? For me, it is either one or the other - if I want to stream music from my iPhone, I need to unplug the USB cable (that is connected to the iPod).

Yes, what you described is normal.

Thanks, although I would add that while it may be normal for Porsches, the other German brands (BMW, MB and Audi) allow for simultaneous iPod and Bluetooth audio connectivity.

Must be something specific to the later models. My 2012 doesn't exhibit the same behavior that you're seeing.

OMG - I am so jealous. I also notice that you don't have the jukebox listed - maybe that took the place of it? The other difference is the introduction of the stupid AHA music - when you have the app open on the iphone connected to the USB cable, AHA becomes another source in the list. Unfortunately, the AHA app is worthless.

Could be something in the newer PCM version. Mine doesn't have the online integration for apps. I think that started in 2013.

The AHA radio requires the iPhone to be plugged in. It does not allow over the air BT broadcast(BT telephone is allowed), therefore it automatically cuts off Aux BT when an iPhone is plugged in.
All 2013 vehicles with PCM/NAVI that were manufactured after Nov 2012 got a free Jukebox and optional AHA radio.

Got it - thanks for the info. While the jukebox may be a nice feature for some (I don't foresee myself using it), the AHA app is completely useless. It would be great to disable it to get the BT features back.
