Panamera 4 over-heating problems?

My Panamera 4 has experienced over-heating problems. Car has 35k miles. Currently being diagnosed at dealer. Anyone else had these issues? Of course, I'm 200 miles from nearest dealer... on vacation...

Had problems with overheating onmy 2010 P4S at 21K, but then my belt was ripped and my water pump out of commission. Which came first in my case could not be elucidated-ripped belt damaged the the pump, or was it primarily the pump that broke and the friction from the pulleys and ensuing heightened belt tension caused it to snap. I'm sure your issue will be addressed, just unfortunate it was during your vacation. Hang in there

Have you checked you have enough coolant, drivers side blue covered container, should be in the middle? Are the fans blowing when you stop as it is hot? Hope its something simple like low coolant, you can fix on the road. Porsche Approved Warranty pays for towing + 5 days of rental car...

I think I have read posts about Panny water pump failures in very new cars...

Panamera 4s over-heating problems

my 2011 4s w/22k miles stranded me on the highway last night when it overheated. Porsche road assistance had the vehicle picked and at the dealers in a little under 4 hours. Dealer called this morning saying the thermostat housing had cracked. any ideas why a thermostat housing would crack?
