Default Panamera GTS with Carrera S wheels

When placing the order for my Panamera GTS I wanted to avoid the Turbo II wheels since my old Panamera V6 had them. I almost chose the Panamera Sport wheels but in the end went with the Turbo II again.

I am now in love with the 20" Carrera S wheels painted platinum. I called my dealer to check if they were able to change the order but my car is scheduled for production in 2 days.

I see no reason why the Carrera wheels would not fit in the Panamera, am I wrong?

The dealer is checking on ways to get them. However, I feel they might not be the cheapest option. Any tips on getting trustful Porsche OEM wheels and getting rid of the brand new wheels that are coming with the GTS?

Just make a deal with the Dealer to trade in your take-offs for what you want.

Should only be a slight upcharge if you negotiate well.

Well, it looks like the offset is different... I will double check on it but looks like I will have to wait for Porsche to come up with a similar design for the Panamera.

The 991 Carrera S (III) wheels are:
front: 8.5 x 20 ET51
rear: 11 x 20 ET70

The standard Panamera GTS wheels are the 19-inch Panamera Turbo ones.
9J x 19-inch ET 60 with 255/45 ZR 19 tyres front,
10J x 19-inch ET61 with 285/40 ZR 19 tyres rear
(5mm wheel spacers (5 mm) at the rear as standard)

Then you can have the optional 19-inch Panamera Design wheels
Front axle: 9J x 19 ET 60 with 255/45 ZR 19 tyres.
Rear axle: 10J x 19 ET 61 with 285/40 ZR 19 tyres

The optional 20" wheels are:

20-inch RS Spyder Design wheels
Front axle: 9.5J x 20 ET 65 with 255/40 ZR 20 tyres
Rear axle: 11J x 20 ET 68 with 295/35 ZR 20 tyres

20-inch 911 Turbo II wheel
Front axle: 9.5J x 20 ET 65 with 255/40 20 tyres.
Rear axle: 11J x 20 ET 68 with 295/35 ZR 20 tyres

20-inch Panamera Sport wheel
Front axle: 9.5J x 20 ET 65 with 255/40 ZR 20 tyres.
Rear axle: 11.5J x 20 ET 63 with 295/35 ZR 20 tyres
And the standard wheel spacers on the rear (5 mm) are removed.

Thanks 911SLOW.

Indeed the wheels do not fit. This is the email I got from Porsche this morning:

Thank you for your request.
The 20" Carrera S wheels are only available for the 911 models.
This wheel is the only one which is available in platinum.

So unfortunately it's not possible to order this wheel for your Panamera
GTS.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
