2011 Panamera Turbo: Cost
For anyone who is interested, here are the facts:
My dealer had put the order in several months ago as soon as the ordering system would take 2011 orders. I just got it.
The options were slightly different at that time: some now come as standard, some are now bundled into a package, and some new ones have been added. For example, I planned to skip the CD player but one is there anyway. I skipped the 50hp Porsche power upgrade and their body kit.
Cost: With the factory options I wanted, the car had a $183k sticker, which turned into $200k with tax and fees. Radar & Laser protection nicely installed, clear wrap plus some dealer wheel and dent insurance added $15k. So $215k total.

Sounds about right...drove one with the HP upgrade and new bumper just to compare it to my 2010 Turbo...I didn't notice it when I was testing the 2011 until I got back in my 2010 and it felt down on power...considering a ECU upgrade...Enjoy the ride!!!

On the power kit, upon placing my order in July I was told that the first batch of 2011 turbo builds for the US could not be configured with the power kit. Saw an email from porschusa confirming this "fact" and it wasnt in the dealer version of the configurator. Where did you drive one with the kit? I notice your US-based account home and so am curious.
Presumably it can be added later if the urge arises... but would have liked the full factory warrantee.
To the OP, congrats on the new ride! Would love to see pics!

Please excuse the poor wording: the car does NOT have the Porsche power package ($22k/40hp) and does NOT have the Sport Design bodywork package ($5k). I didn't try to amend the order after those were announced. If someone got those and a few more leather options in the interior, they would end up with a $250k tab.
This is my first car which has a price in this atmosphere. First dent: pending. First coffee spill: check. Time with manual on my lap in front of impatient valet service before concluding that "Enter and Drive" key fob can't be removed once inserted: 20 minutes.
Does everyone agree with the manual's suggested 2,000 mile "go easy on it" period?
