Ana, indeed, was very pleasant and nice to talk to. Is she associated with one of the dealerships or just working at the tent for the day?

I also saw it at the Fairfield Concours. Very impressive in person and definitley far more attrractive. I think Porsche will have a hit with this one. Everyone around the car was completely impressed.

Agreed, both Ana and another attractive host were very pleasant to speak with and easy on the eyes.

I took this shot of the interior which unfortunately didn't come out very good. Still not a fan of all the buttons that look the same but other than that the interior was stunning.

That hairy leg makes me wish for even more buttons...sport, sport plus, sport plus-plus, sport and supersport sport sport plus, really!. Where's the Oprah button?

To think I once criticized the Corvette for having Touring, Sport and "Competition" buttons.

I'll probably go see it in the flesh next Wednesday (one of those "special invites" from my dealer that goes to the thousands on their mailing list). Hopefully it will look ALOT better in the flesh than the pictures.

i think most of the doubters will fall away as the car becomes more visible.

i first saw/sat with it over a year ago and told them they have a "slam dunk" on their hands.

i have watched with some amusement the development of opinions here. to be sure we are an insular and partisan crowd, but most of us are true P-enthusiasts.

this car stomps the S and 7-series in virtually every car-related category. i'll have one in about 18-24 mo when the fixes for the bugs are better worked out

After the reviews I'm seriously considering the 4S. Was planning on a C2S but the wif doesn't want four cars. If you can get 90% of the driving experience of a 911 with all the practicality you've got to give it a serious look enthusiast or not. Never thought I'd say that

do you really think that this car will give you "90% of the driving experience" of a c2s? compare it to a 7 series bimmer, an s class mercedes if you will-i think you are being a bit unrealistic about what this car is.

I am considering trading my GX 470 on it as soon as I seen if the backseat can accomodate my dogs. yes, my dogs. I was going to see how the new Cayenne looked and drove, but after seeing pics...I really like it. I am hoping to see it Saturday when I go to Hendrick for a TSB on my C2S.

At Daytona this weekend, just had lunch and almost lost it when I turned the corner and saw it GACK that thing is off the chart bad. The interior seating is cool but the unbelievable number of buttons is OTT and the "I want to be a ford fiesta" side grill/gill is just BAD. This car could develop into something great but if Porsche is taking aim at an S or a 4-porte' I think they missed.

We have an event this Sunday at the Santa Barbara Polo Fields but I went down to the dealership tody, figuring they would be around. One was on the showroom floor. I predict that it will do well.

Wheels are the optional 20s. 40 series in front, with 35 series in back. (295)

Dan,
Nice pics! I could get used to the buttons, but am vexed regarding Porsche's use of 996ish headlights.

Why not an upright snout, with a proper grille, like any other sedan?

IMHO, the headlights are have more similarity to the Carrera GT than the 996.
