I guess it is taste, but I think it is a lot better looking that a 7 series BMW or the S class Mercedes.

911 front 928 rear and a bunch of extra weight stuffed in the middle. That said, I think it's pretty slick.
I hope Porsche has good luck the car and manages their $$ well enough to build a P1 car (Audi being the pediment) and a 911 mid-engine to take on Ferrari at Le Mans.
GT3 in Pansy Peach ain't working for me.

Say, isn't that chick at the :30 mark sporting Jerry Seinfeld's puffy shirt?
Huh? There were wheels in that clip? I must have missed it.
More than a few decades late to the mature luxury sedan market. I guess that's why the announcer exclaimed "We made it!".

First of all, yes Russell, that is the puffy shirt.
I guess this it's not PC to say this around here, but I like the looks of the car, and I hope that Porsche is wildly successful with it. When the Cayenne came out, there was all sorts of crap from the Porsche afficionazis about Porsche making an SUV. But now I see a pretty large number of them being used as tow vehicles, and as the family grocery getter for 911 owners. Let's hope the Panamera has a similar success. I suspect that once folks have had a chance to drive it and compare its performance to other high-end sedans, that people will warm up to the Panamera. Time will tell.

Mike, the Cayenne is a good-looking vehicle. Amazing that I agree with Wayne on this.

I wouldn't call the car ugly, it's just different. It's a market they've been wanting to enter and the car appears better and more interesting than most boring sedans out there (e.g. BMW 5 series).
I think the main limiting issue will be the high cost.

Design fail. Period, end of story.
Caveat - the interior is outstanding. The performance will be stellar. But style wins new customers. The new Tesla EV sedan has 1000 times more style than this car. I agree with Dave about the Quattroporte. Staggering design AND performance.
You tell me of I am wrong:
Tesla Model S Sedan
Maserati Quattroporte
Panamera

Exactly!! I love the look from the front and the 3/4 view from the side , rear and that hatch/bubble look leaves alot to be desired though !
